In Barcelona, Alcaraz defends his title without dropping a set all tournament, beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final. Iga Swiatek also defends her title with a statement win to begin her clay season, defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the Final. Holger Rune survives injury concerns and 4 match points to also defend his title in Munich, defeating Botic van de Zandschulp in the final after Botic failed to serve for the match in 3 straight service games. Finally, Dusan Lajovic wins the title in Banja Luka, defeating Andrey Rublev in the final
We also discuss notable players from all 4 tournaments, including the injury to Ons Jabeur in her semifinal match against Iga Swiatek, form and injury concerns for Novak Djokovic after his loss to Lajovic, Jannik Sinner's retirement in Barcelona, among others.
We also discuss the results so far and preview the rest of the draw for the Masters 1000 event Madrid! We go quarter by quarter discussing the most notable match-ups, and we give our predictions from the quarterfinals onwards.
