We begin the show discussing the results from the Miami Masters 1000 event, where Petra Kvitova won her 9th Masters 1000 against one of the players of the year in Elena Rybakina, and Daniil Medvedev won his 4th title in his last 5 events with a straight sets win over Jannik Sinner. We also discuss probably the match of the tournament in the semi final between Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
We also preview the draw for the Masters 1000 event in Monte Carlo! We go quarter by quarter discussing the most notable match-ups, and we give our predictions from the quarterfinals onwards.
With the end of the hardcourt season of the first quarter of the year, we go into our version of the power rankings for both the ATP and WTA. Who are the players on the rise? Who are players that disappointed? Who are our top 5 players of the year? We go into all of that and more.
At the end of the show, we also do some Monte Carlo related Trivia! Listen to the end to see if you can get more correct answers than our host Jishnu!
This year, we are experimenting with a different format for recording our shows. Moving forward, most episodes will be recorded live or be pre-recorded and uploaded shortly after on YouTube and delivered to our Podcast feed the next day.
